Rub-a-dub-dub...
Bath time is so much fun! Aaron loves to play in the bathtub. He gets so excited - kicks and moves his arms like crazy. He is becoming such a happy little guy!

Happy Halloween!
Sorry it has taken me so long to post these pictures. I have no extra time these days.

Latest happenings...

Came around the corner to find Aaron sitting like this in the swing. My heart jumped out of my chest when I noticed that he wasn't buckled in.

Savannah has been playing alot with this cool tent shaped like a castle. She always wants to play like she is a princess.

Aaron has been wanting to sit up so much. He is getting so big that our arms get tired so easily when we hold him too long. Thank goodness for the boppy, don't worry we were sitting right next to him, just in case. He is growing up so fast...

Savannah got some new boots for the cold weather. She loves to wear them around the house even when she has on her shorts. It is too cold for them outside but she loves to wear them around the house. I think it is a new fashion statement.

It is funny the positions you find your kids in when they sleep. Aaron looks like he had a rough day. He isn't always in the swing, just when we can get a chance to put him down and get some things DONE!

Went to a roller skating party, had them on for about 15 minutes and that was it. She didn't do too bad, just didn't want to do it too much. I can understand, it would be hard feeling so unstable when you are used to feeling so safe on your two feet. She had more fun running around the rink without skates chasing a little bouncy ball than skating. Let's not forget enjoying the cake...

I remember raking the leaves in the yard and jumping in them when I was a kid. How can you miss an opportunity like that for your kids...
She would sit in the pile and Jake would come and drop a pile onto her head. What fun!!!

Some of you may know that my Dad just moved 2 1/2 hours away to start a new life with his girlfriend. Although we are happy for him it also is a little sad for us. We will miss seeing him on a short notice but we will make sure to visit often. Love you Dad.

Oh how I love my hubby and the things he does. Many of you know that my husband gets lots of ideas and wants to do lots of things. However, they are usually short lived and don't stick around too long. Like the time he wanted to have a bee farm - never happened. Or the time he wanted to be a slum lord - he is still working on that (slowly). We have embarked on another one of those "fads" - building a chicken coop to have chickens. He is actually building it on his own which is quite impressive for a computer nerd. Here are some pictures of it, we will see how long it takes him to get it done and if we actually get chickens.

We were able to visit a local attraction this weekend. We went to visit the Rolling Hills Wildlife Zoo. Savannah had a great time but was disappointed that they didn't have horses. It was perfect weather and we hope you enjoy the pictures.

Happenings since last posting...

Savannah loves to pull the pillows off of the couch and this time she made a cool fort with it and was not letting the "bad dinosaur" in. She had a great time with it.

Savannah has a week of firsts. She was at the dentist this week for her first appointment ever. She did a great job and received some help from Heavenly Father (she is holding a bible in the chair).

She also started going to a preschool that 5 other moms and I are doing in our homes. We are focusing on learning the letters of the alphabet. She has enjoyed her two days this week. She is so excited to go to school!

She also had her first eye appointment this week. She had great vision and we are so happy that she didn't inherit my vision!

We are always trying to get a good photo of the kids. It was nice of Grandma to come and assist with holding Aaron up so Savannah could hug him and I could get a good pic. Don't they look alike?

Check out this smile. It was all I could get with my slow cheap camera. He has a great smile and loves to show it off. Love him tons!

I have been not so good lately with posting pictures of our little family. Here are some pictures that I have taken in the last couple of months.

I am FINALLY in some of the pictures on our blog.

Savannah loves to hold Aaron. She will say, "Mommy, can I hold him?" When he begins to fuss she says, "Mommy, take him he is starting to fuss!"

I couldn't resist taking this picture. Savannah decided to cover up Aaron with her blanket. So cute!!! I love when she is affectionate with him.

Getting some cuddle time with Aaron on the couch.

I couldn't resist taking this picture - look at those cheeks!!!
Aaron has really enjoyed taking baths until he has to get out and he gets cold!
Thanks Jana for the great hooded towell.

We were trying to get Aaron to smile and Savannah was wanting a picture with him and she is smiling big for me!

5 Weeks Old!
I can't believe that Aaron is 5 weeks old. My how the time flies. We went to the doctor for his 1 month check up. He currently weights 12 lbs (90%) and is 22 1/2 in long (75%). HE IS A BIG BOY!!!
When Savannah was this age she weighed 9 lbs. (50%) and was 21 in long (50%). She was much smaller and didn't eat nearly as much as he does.

Random Acts of Aaron

Aaron seemed to enjoy his first bath. He screamed throughout his sponge baths, so I was a little nervous about giving him a bath. I was relieved that he did so well. This is a family website so the picture is "G" rated. :)

Any room for me on that couch? Why was I taking a picture and not sleeping? Oh yeah, responsibilities!

Grandma Lini getting some much needed Aaron cuddle time. We are so glad that they came to visit. Thanks for making his blessing so special! We love you.

Here are a few photos of Aaron and the rest of the family. Savannah is always wanting to feed "Baby Aaron." Savannah never took a bottle so we are making sure that he does, the things you learn after having one child. He is really looking better and not so orange/yellow from the jaundice. Like father like son - Jake is always catnapping and so I thought this picture was appropriate.

My beautiful babies.

I see so much of a resemblence in the kids, with exception to Aaron's jaundice.

You be the judge!

Big Sister!

Savannah loves her baby brother. She is always wanting to hold him until he cries. She wanted to lay with him to watch a movie at the hospital the other day. They look so much alike - at least right now. We love our little kiddos!

Aaron Jacob has arrived!!

He arrived at 2:51pm, 8lbs 1 ounce and length was 20.5 inches. Not much of a cryer but that is fine with us. It is clear already that he is a genius. Everyone is healthy and happy. We are excited for Savannah to arrive and meet her new brother, she spent the night at Grandma's last night so we have been missing her. I will post pics in a little bit.
Dialated to a 10!!

Well we quickly jumped from a 6 to a 10 in dialation so we are ready to go. I have been playing a little online poker to try and help pay for this baby being born. Gotta go help Tia breath!!!
Slowwww progress.......

Well it is 12:30 pm our time so we have been here for 5.5 hours. The Dr. just came in and broke her water. She is dialated to about a 4 or 5 so there has not been much change, we came to the hospital dialated to a 4. Everything is going well and we will keep the blog updated.
At the Hospital

We are all settled in and Tia is dialated to a 4. No real contractions or anything at this point. So now I am starting to get tired. I may need to turn on some Arrested Development to keep me awake. They are going to start Patossin(sp?) shortly, this should start her into labor within an hour or so.
On our way to the hospital to bring our baby boy into the world. Stay tuned...
